TCI-Ark Rules

This rule is of utmost importance as it embodies our commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment for all our community members. Discriminatory behavior is strictly prohibited, and we expect everyone to uphold these principles. 

• You must be respectful toward staff at all times.  You must also follow instructions from staff members.
• Chats, in game or in discord, via voice or via text, must remain civil at all times.  People who choose to create drama and arguments may find themselves muted, kicked, or banned depending on the severity of the violation.
• We do not allow the use of slurs for any reason.
• We do not tolerate trolling or general harassment of other players or staff members.
• We do not allow spamming, which includes but is not limited to, excessive capitalization, sending multiple messages, and causing disruptions in voice channels.
• We do not tolerate NSFW content.

This is self explanatory.  If you are found to be using more than one account you may be banned without further warning.

Do not build anything that may obstruct access to any Obelisk Terminals, Explorer Notes, Artifact Caves, or Obelisk. All areas must be accessible from foot and air; building in such ways that obstruct access to these will result in the building being deleted without prior warning. 

We ask that you please do not build close to other player’s bases as it may interfere with expansion of their base. You may only build near another player’s base if all parties involved agree.  Failure to comply with this rule may result in having your base removed without notice. 

 Be wary of who you allow into your tribe and with whom you form alliances. TCI is not responsible for lost/stolen/destroyed items should the damage be caused by other players.  Ark is a game built around trust, relationships, and survival of the fittest, and, as the story of ARK goes, betrayal is a big part of this cruel world.  While we hope it doesn't happen here, it is not staff's responsibility to interfere with tribe related issues. Ultimately, it is your world and it is up to you to gather, build, tame, grow, and decide who you can trust. It is up to you to keep your items safe from others and we recommend you store special items in a place that is pin-code protected. 

Staff will only recover items that have been lost due to glitches. When a glitch happens, you will need to provide video proof so that staff can evaluate the situation and determine if it was a covered glitch. Without recorded evidence of a server-caused glitch, staff will not be allowed to recover your items. 

Glitches that would result in staff being able to return your items are errors that occur and are outside of your control, and/or were not caused by your actions. 

The following is a non-exhaustive list of covered glitches: 

Being stuck in part of the environment or stuck under the map.  For example, being grabbed by an alpha tuso and getting anti-meshed by it

• If the server crashes. 
• If an unstable piece of code or a “bug” in the game causes a malfunction. 

The following is a non-exhaustive list of glitches that are not covered: 

• Your game client crashing.
• Attempting to use a glitch to your benefit or the benefit of another and incurring negative consequences.
