These rules are intended for factions/classes. You may opt into any of these lifestyles, or stay neutral with your Minecraft experience via staying human.
1.] You may not bite or feed off of players or any of their livestock, unless given permission to do so. There is a vegan option to opt for [Using Meat grinders to obtain unpurified blood that you can purify through the use of a Blood sieve].
2.] If a neutral player does not wish to be a vampire don't infect them via biting them or using the infect ability.
3.] Do not use your bat ability to sneak into peoples homes. In accordance to claim rules you must be invited in to enter a home that does not belong to you.
4.] You may not abuse the exploit of sleeping from bed to coffin to skip seasons.
5.] Any faction members can form clans together! Vampire and vampire hunters can coexist together!
Having control over a village has many benefits to each faction, such as:
➜ Better trades from villagers (can sell faction related items)
➜ Fog over the village so that vampires may walk freely in them during the day ➜Advanced traders/representatives that offer tasks for you to reach max level in your faction, as well as obtaining late game items, and special faction items.
➜ Having the guards and other inhabitants become non hostile to you.
A.] For a village to be claimable by your faction a village totem must be present. Each faction has its own-colored totem. A blue totem indicates a vampire Hunter village, and a purple totem represents a vampire village. White totems are neutral to both sides
B.] You may only take and move neutral Totems, do not pick up or destroy totems owned by vampires or hunters.
C.] You may not hide totems in villages. They must remain accessible for either faction to activate.
A .] if you wish to have ownership over a village you must click the totem to start a raid. A raid will summon NPCs of your faction to kill the opposing faction members. A raid will fail if all NPC targets [and opposing faction members if present] are not eliminated.
B.] There is no limit on how many raids faction members can summon on a given village.
